Use these concepts to decide where to import products and how to track the work that follows.

## The main objects [#the-main-objects]

- **Destination Store**: a connected Shopify store where products can be imported and published.
- **Product**: the canonical catalog record you manage in **Products**.
- **Product Library**: the owner-scoped catalog view for organizing product data before publishing it to a store.
- **Task**: one reusable step of your listing work, such as translating,
converting prices or writing a title. Tasks are listed under **Tasks**.
- **Workflow**: a reusable sequence of tasks, run in order on each product.
  Workflows are listed under **Workflows**.
- **Run**: one execution of a workflow for selected products.
- **Job**: an individual step within a run, with its own status and result.

## Task or workflow: what is the difference? [#task-or-workflow-what-is-the-difference]

A task is one step; a workflow is the chain of steps. A task does nothing on its
own until a workflow that contains it runs on a product.

- Editing a task changes every workflow that contains it, from the next run on.
Products that are already finished never change.
- Editing a workflow (adding, removing or reordering its steps) changes future
  runs of that workflow only.
- The **Tasks** page shows reusable steps, not running work. To follow work in
  progress, open **Workflow History**.
- On **Workflows**, the **Owner** column shows **You** for the workflows you
built and **System** for ready-made ones that come with CopyHero. You can use a
System workflow, but only CopyHero can change or delete it. See
  [delete a workflow](/help/workflows/delete-workflows).

## How they work together [#how-they-work-together]

1. Import a source product to a destination store or to the **Product Library**.
2. Select products and use **Start Workflow** when they share a suitable store context.
3. Check the run and its jobs to see progress and failures.
4. Review the product record and publish or update it through its store link.
